Every session begins with getting to know YOU — not putting you immediately into a pose. We'll explore, talk, find the right light, and ease into the session naturally. I'll offer direction when you need it, while leaving room for personality, connection, and unexpected moments to emerge.

You don't need to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. I'll offer direction when you need it, from small adjustments that help you look your best to simple prompts that create movement and interaction. Other times, I'll step back and let a moment unfold naturally. The goal isn't to work through a checklist of poses, but to create photographs that feel personal to you.

Throughout the session, we'll create a variety of images—from the beautiful, polished portraits you expect to wider environmental photographs, close details, natural interactions, and the unexpected moments in between. I use the surroundings, available light, and what I learn about you to guide the session rather than making every client fit the same formula.

Sessions are relaxed and exploratory. We may walk between locations, stop when the light catches my attention, or try something simply because it looks interesting. Some of my favorite photographs come from those unplanned moments. Your session is a collaboration: I'll bring the photographic direction and creative eye; you just need to bring yourself.

Running late? Weather looking questionable? Nervous about being photographed? We'll communicate before your session and adjust when necessary. Outdoor photography doesn't always go exactly according to plan—and that's okay.
